Welcome!

I am excited to work with you here at Riverside Therapy Center. My name is Rebecca Dallas. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in the State of Washington. Additionally, I have worked as a Designated Crisis Responder (DCR) in Spokane County. I have been providing behavioral health and counseling services for close to a decade in both Eastern and Western Washington.

I use a wide range of treatment methods depending on individual clients’ needs. However, I primarily provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness techniques, Brief Solution Focus Therapy (SFBT), Choice/Reality Therapy, Grief Therapy, Bio-acoustic Therapy, Relapse Prevention Planning, Anger Management/Conflict Resolution, Interpersonal Group Therapy and Psychosocial Education.

My mission is to support individuals, couples, and families on their journey of growth and healing. I’m committed to offering a safe space where people can feel comfortable to share and collaborate in a therapeutic setting.  I have an open-minded and non-judgmental approach, tailoring sessions to the unique needs of every person, and creating space for collaboration and feedback.

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder/Anxiety/Depression

I use an integrative approach to treat a variety of PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety conditions, including treatment-resistant depression, suicidality, panic disorders, and social anxiety.  Initially, I will explore your issues to help you gain a greater understanding of the source of your problems. Following a detailed exploration of your symptoms, we will utilize the combination of different techniques and goal-centered treatment planning to help you overcome your fears, manage unhelpful thoughts, develop positive coping strategies, and work on reducing or eliminating behaviors that you wish to change.

Relationship Issues

Individual and Couples Counseling for relationship issues can be a powerful tool in regaining peace and harmony with oneself and loved ones. I offer individual and couples therapy for relationship issues with spouses, dating partners, family members, friends, and colleagues. We will work on family and relationship history, your relationship patterns, establishing healthy boundaries, addressing difficult thoughts or emotions, and improving communication.

Women’s Issues

Women often face a unique set of issues surrounding body image, self-esteem, codependency, self-worth, establishing boundaries, intimacy issues, motherhood, postpartum mood issues, stereotypes, gender roles, and a variety of other specific women’s therapy topics. As a therapist, I understand how to help clients build resilience and become your best self despite the challenges you face.

Men’s Issues

I also enjoy supporting men in their own unique therapeutic journey on the issues they face, including difficulty expressing emotions, relationship challenges, anger management, substance use or gambling, work-related stress, and financial challenges.

Special Topics

I am committed to working on issues of a social nature with people of every background, including people with ADHD, autism, sexual and gender orientation issues, and racial or cultural discrimination.

I have additional specialized training in Addiction Therapy, Trauma Informed Modalities, and Crisis Management.

I have 29 years of experience working with adults, youth, and the elderly in a variety of settings, and I look forward to working with you in a holistic way to achieve balance and increase everyday moments of joy in your life!

Warmly,

Rebecca Dallas  MA, LMHCA, SUDP
